The lower back is a sensitive spot for many people. While there can be a ton of causes of lower back pain, a weak core and poor posture from sitting all day are the two most common contributing factors to lower back aches. It's always important to figure out what's causing pain so you can address it and prevent it from happening again. But in most situations, doing some gentle yoga can help relieve tightness and give your lower back some relief.

You should seek professional advice & consult a qualified yoga instructor before you start doing Yoga, especially if you have any history of lower back injuries, problems with your discs, or experience pain that lasts more than 72 hours without improving.
