Prenatal yoga for back pain | 7 Asanas to relieve lower back pain during pregnancy

Relieve lower back pain during pregnancy with these simple 7 yoga stretches. Back pain is one of the most common complaints during pregnancy specially during third trimester. As your baby grows, your centre of gravity changes and your pelvic tends to tilt forward, overextending the lower back. In addition, the Relaxin hormone also kicks in to relax the ligaments in the pelvic joints which adds to the trouble. Today we will do some exercises to help stretch the lower back to relive this pain. In addition to this, you must also actively try to maintain a good posture specially during the last trimester so that you can prevent the back pain from getting worse.
