Board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Dr. Kalman sees patients in Burlington, Chapel Hill, Durham, and Kalman graduated from Yale University where he was a two time All-Ivy football player. He then went to medical school at University of Medicine and Dentistry School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Kalman completed his residency of Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY, where he was chief resident.

Dr. Kalman then finished a fellowship specializing in spine care and musculoskeletal medicine at the University of Flordia. He served as an assistant professor at The University of Florida Department of Orthopedics. His areas of expertise include interventional pain management, electrodiagnostic testing, occupational medicine, chronic pain management, and sports medicine.
