Low Back Pain Red Flags! (THE REAL ONES!)

With low back pain being so exceptionally common it is imperative that you and your friends and family know what the low back pain ‘red flags’ are.

Why? Because ‘red flags’ are one or a set of symptoms that clinicians use every time they see somebody with low back pain to try and rule out serious or sinister pathology. This is pathology that would require urgent medical attention, normally because it could leave an individual with life changing impairment and or could be life threatening. Before talking about treatment and management for low back pain it is important that serious or sinister pathology is ruled out first, via the red flag symptoms I discuss in this video.

In this video I discuss the 6 signs and symptoms that you need to look out for, be aware of and monitor if you have a new or persistent episode of low back pain and importantly what to do in the unlikely event that you ever develop any of them.

Stay tuned until the end of the video where I go through how common low back pain red flags are and give you the statistics about the incidence of low back pain red flags.

Thank you very much for watching and have a beautiful day!
