Yoga For Lower Back Pain Relief | Yoga with Rachel

Join Yoga with Rachel on the mat for a yoga sequence designed to help you get relief from lower back pain.

We engage in gentle stretches to send some TLC to the low back. We also explore movements that can help improve mobility throughout the entire spine. We explore an exercise that can help strengthen the low back area. We tap into conscious breathing to help release stored tension throughout the entire spine. Finally, there’s an invitation to say one kind thing to yourself in this practice. Perhaps you take this one kind word with you off of the mat.

This practice is great for those who find themselves sitting for a good chunk of the day, and also for those who stand a lot.

This class is gentle and supportive.

All levels can join in on this one. I provide a number of options for you to explore in today’s class because the name of the game is to help you find what feels good for you.

If you happen to experience any pain or discomfort in any posture or movement, please stop doing the pose and/or movement. Listen to your body as it knows best. You can always try another option that feels better for you.

It is my hope that you experience relief from low back pain and general discomfort in this area.

For best results, return to this class at least 3 times a week.

Let me know how it goes for you in the comments!
