Feet in straps exercise on the Pilates Reformer for back pain and hip movement

When we have back pain that lasts a while, we stop moving, creating stiffness and lack of mobility in the back, but also in the hips..

Feet in straps on the reformer is an exercise everyone loves as it gets the hips moving again in a supported way.

The straps support the weight of the legs, whilst the springs give you support and slight resistance.

Moving the hips feels so good!

This exercise also stretches the hamstrings and the sciatic nerve, so should be used with caution if you have nerve sensitivity.
