Kinetic chain joint instability and back pain

Danielle Matias, PA-C discussing the kinetic chain-joint instability connection. As we often see with patients who have low back/sacroiliac joint instability, it can often "spread" to other joints like the hip and eventually down to the knee, etc.. as the joints become more unstable, additional force is transferred to the adjacent joint which can, in turn, become unstable and the cycle continues.

If you have been dealing with chronic low back pain that seems to be aggravating your hip or visa versa and think the underlying problem may be loose ligaments, check out our article to do a deeper dive on the love to see you as a patient!
